Student Art Collections Grows

A stunning ceramic piece created by senior Vivia T. was introduced as the newest addition to Foxcroft's Permanent Student Art Exhibit Friday by Head of School Mary Louise Leipheimer and Visual Arts teacher Gary Cox.

Each fall, Mr. Cox asks one of his top students to offer her artistic services as part of the Parents' Association Auction. This year, Vivian was the selected artist and Academic Dean Courtney Ulmer was the "angel" having placed the winning bid for the newest addition to Foxcroft's Permanent Student Art Collection. Next time you are in Schoolhouse, take a look around the lobby outside the Admission Office to see the wonderful collection of pottery, photography, paintings, and drawings we have collected since the tradition began!
