We invite the extended Foxcroft community to view and comment on the diverse works of visual art and creative writing on the Chimera blog.
We've had even more contributions to Chimera this year than last, and we were delighted by the response we had. It was difficult to choose from among so many pieces of artwork and creative writing. The final selections highlight the diverse talents of the student body. Photography, drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, and ceramics represent the fine arts. The written word is found in poetry of many forms and several languages, interspersed with short stories.

Many thanks to English Department Chair Anne Burridge for serving as the Faculty Advisor. We wish to recognize Mr. McCarty and his Creative Writing class in particular for their many excellent submissions as well as Mr. Cox from the Art Department for his help in compiling images of student artwork. Special kudos to Mr. Burridge for helping us navigate the technological challenges of Wordpress. Lastly, we are especially grateful to our senior student editors, Molly and Lilly P., for their work in relaunching Chimera last year and contributing to this spring issue.
