Starting July 17, Foxcroft's online bookstore will be officially open for the ordering of textbooks. Families may choose to have their orders delivered to their homes or to Foxcroft, where they will be stored until the start of school.
Many returning students have already availed themselves of MBS Direct's buyback program, which started in May and gave them an opportunity to sell their used books easily and efficiently.
Foxcroft's online book store is accessible from the Academic Program page of the School's website. Look for the ORDER BOOKS button on the lower left side of the page.
In his spring announcement about the online bookstore, Academic Dean John Suitor wrote:
2. New and returning students will have the option of buying new or used books from MBS Direct for coursework commencing this fall. The price difference for used books is substantial; many families may wish to investigate this new option.
Due to the implementation of this program, students' course requests need to be settled earlier than in previous years. I have already met with many of the girls to discuss their proposed course schedules, and I will include--in their final grades and comments mailing--a copy of their requests for your review. If you have any questions about your daughter's schedule, please call me to discuss them at 540.687.4330 or email jsuitor@foxcroft.org.
We are delighted to offer this opportunity to our families. and I anticipate that it will proceed smoothly. As with any new.
