Foxcroft took on an undefeated team in Chelsea Academy and narrowly missed pulling off an upset.

After dropping the first game, 25-20, Foxcroft bounced back to win the next two by scores of 25-16 and 26-24. In a very tight fourth game Chelsea Academy emerged with a 25-23 victory to even the match and set up a 15-point fourth game.

However, it became clear early in the decisive game that Foxcroft's girls were very tired as they fell behind early and never were able to catch up in a 15-8 loss.

The victory gave Chelsea Academyy a 10-0 record while Foxcroft dropped to 5-5.
The teams will meet against at Foxcroft on the Saturday morning of Parents Weekend.

Senior co-captain led Foxcroft with 29 digs, 11 assists, four kills and six service aces. Junior Mia Moseley and 17 digs, seven kills, five service aces and two blocks while junior Trinity P. added six blocks and three kills.
