Foxcroft student featured in story about female polo players

Female polo players are a small but growing group and one upcoming star is among the students who will matriculate at Foxcroft this week. Isabella '09, who is transferring from Highland School to join her younger sister, Alex '10, at Foxcroft, was one of three area riders featured recently in an article in Middleburg Life newspaper.

Isabella began playing polo at age 9 and spent this summer playing in two Virginia leagues  -- Great Meadow League (4-7 goal) and Foxlease League (7-9 goal)  -- as well as in Saratoga, NY. Although she is only entering her junior year, she has already been contacted by several schools, including the University of Virginia and Cornell University, about playing in college. Isabella is a strong student, loves photography and is interested in perhaps becoming an equine vet.  We are delighted to have her as part of the Foxcroft community.
