Foxcroft junior places 10th in the World Youth Sport Climbing Championships in Edinburgh!

Junior Faith S. placed 10th among 33 climbers Sunday in the Female Youth A Speed Competition at the World Youth Sport Climbing Championships in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Faith, a resident of Hamilton, VA, narrowly missed advancing to the quarterfinals early Sunday when she finished 10th among 16 climbers partcipating in the round of 16. She had posted the 11th-best qualifying time Friday -- 17.45 seconds -- to advance in her first World Youth Championships.

Anna Tsyganova of Russia led all Youth A (16 and 17 year olds) qualifiers with a time of 12.06, and went on to take the title, beating Esther Bruckner of France in the final. For complete results, click here.
