Foxcroft Receives MBPA's Heritage Award

The Middleburg Business and Professional Association presented it inaugural Heritage Award to Foxcroft School Tuesday (Dec. 8) at its annual awards presentation held at Emmanuel Church.

The award, which Head of School Cathy McGehee accepted from MBPA President Punkin Lee, was created to honor "those organizations, institutions or people who epitomize our history and who continue to have an influence on our community and beyond."
Calling  Foxcroft one of the town's most enduring institutions, Lee noted that many Middleburg citizens have spent their formative years at Foxcroft and, at the same time, the School has a global reach, "sending fine young people out into the world to achieve great things."

Other award winners included two alumnae parents: Christmas in Middleburg organizer Jim Herbert (Tommie '05)and Middleburg Eccentric editor DeeDee Hubbard (Lisa Hubbard Patterson '89).

Many thanks to the MBPA for recognizing Foxcroft!
