Fashion Industry Next Up for Niblack Arts Lecture Series

Allegra Brantly ’04 to Offer Fashion Workshop & Insight into Working in the Fashion Industry

The Helen Cudahy Niblack ’42 Arts Lecture Series was established by Austi Brown ’73 in memory of her mother. It has brought a variety of literary, performing, and fine artists to Foxcroft to share their work, stories, and perspective on the nature of the creative process with both students and the larger community since it began in 2007. One of the goals of the Niblack series is to provide an artist with the opportunity to share her artistic journey in a comfortable and familiar setting, creating space for an exchange of ideas that just might inspire a Foxcroft girl or two to chase her own artistic dreams. Foxcroft should be a very comfortable setting for alumna Allegra Brantly ’04! She will be sharing her story and her perspective on fashion on Thursday, October 2 during a two-part workshop for about a dozen students, and then again on Friday, October 3 in a presentation to the entire Foxcroft community during Morning Meeting where the results of the workshop will also be front and center.
Allegra is a fashion and business professional in New York City. She is the designer and creator of A.MOAY, a luxury robe and travel finery brand that makes stylish, printed loungewear with enhanced fabric, fit, and function. She is also the Summit Development lead for Decoded Fashion, a global event series charged with facilitating the conversation between top fashion brands and tech companies. A one-of-a-kind international series, Decoded puts top decision makers in fashion, beauty, and retail in a room with emerging and established technology companies to facilitate creative partnerships and innovation.

Please feel free to attend the October 3rd Morning Meeting presentation, if it works with your schedule!
