Allegra '11 and Shea '13 earn seconds in Dominion Valley Horse Trials

Senior Allegra A. and sophomore Shea V. earned second-place finishes Sunday (Oct. 10) at hte Dominion Valley Pony Club Horse Trials held at Foxcroft. Kasey C., also a sophomore took fourth.

Competing in the Novice Challenge Division, Allegra and her horse Harry were fifth after dressage with a score of 35.5. They swept cleanly through the stadium jumping and cross-country portions to move up to second place -- and win won $126! Kasey, also competing in Novice Challenge, and Neville were sixth after dressage, fifth after the jumping and fourth overall.

In the Novice Rider Division, Shea, on Bailey, had a score of 35.5 in dressage to stand fourth. Clean, quick rides in jumping and cross-country moved the teamup to second. Senior Annie Y. and sophomore Debbie C. also competed for Foxcroft.
