All Four Varsity Teams to Compete for Championships Thursday

Athletic Director Michelle Woodruff had a broad, bright smile on her face Wednesday afternoon.

"Tomorrow is Championship Thursday for all four of our varsity teams!" she said. "How exciting is that!"

Field Hockey  travels to perenniel power Fredericksburg Academy, Volleyball plays at Quantico High School, Tennis takes on Seton School in Manassas and Cross-Country competes in The Delaney Athletic Conference Championship at Randolph-Macon Academy in Front Royal, VA. All events begin at 4 pm.
Field Hockey, Volleyball and Tennis all won semifinals Tuesday to earn places in the finals while Cross-Country was busy prepping its most important All-DAC meet of the year.

On Tuesday, Field Hockey was the only team on the road but Highland School's turf which had been a factor a Foxcroft loss earlier this year, didn't seem to bother anyone this time around. "Our players were doing everything right," said Woodruff, who coaches the team. "It was fun to watch."
