Academic Dean's article appears in national educational publication

"Everything We Do Is Curriculum," an article written by Foxcroft's Academic Dean, Alexander O. Northrup, is featured in the July issue of KeepingTABS, an E-newsletter published by The Association for Boarding Schools.

The  article, based on remarks Northrup made at a faculty meeting, reflects Foxcroft's mission and philosophy as well as Northrup's personal perspective on boarding schools. It posits that boarding schools offer a unique opportunity for learning to go on in the classroom and out and for teachers to fully realize their vocation -- instructing students in the skills they need to succeed in life, conveying  the collective wisdom and experience of our culture, and helping students explore what it "means to be a human being at this time, in this place."
