A Musical Treat

Music students present fall recital

The sound of music filled FoxHound Auditorium Tuesday evening when voice and piano students presented a lovely recital to the Foxcroft community. Six girls performed pieces in the recital, which featured students of piano teacher Eric Dombrowski and voice teacher Jay Tuttle.

The vocal selections ranged from "I Could Have Danced All Night" (My Fair Lady) to Mozart's "Laudate Dominum." Piano students featured the works of Beethoven, Mozart and Brahms.
Students who take music lessons for credit are required to perform at least once each semester. Many do far more, appearing in the Parents' Weekend show, at the Christmas pageant or with their a capella groups at Morning Meetings and special events, both on campus and elsewhere. The hearty ovations at the recital gave clear evidence that their talents are appreciated!
