First, what is Southeast Asia? Southeast Asia is generally considered to have ten independent countries: Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar (Burma), the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. (Click on a highlighted country to learn more about that country!)

Art of Southeast Asia:
The Metropolitan Musuem of Art's Timeline of Art History
has images and text organized by time period. This site is very informative and many links to various exhibitions from the the Met.
