As a residential school, so much of the life at Foxcroft occurs outside of class – in the afternoon and evening hours, on the weekends. During these times girls have opportunities to learn new skills, to make new friends, to explore, to learn – and simply to relax. In sports and riding, clubs and community service, at dances and events with other schools, off campus and in the dorms – Foxcroft girls are involved and happy. See and feel it when you visit the campus.
It's the Weekend! This announcement in Friday’s Morning Meetings never fails to elicit a cheer from the students. It is at this time that the Student Activities Committee announces the weekend’s events, a great variety of fun things to do on and off campus with Foxcroft students and with other schools. The girls are on Spring Break from March 12-29, but here's what happened the weekend of February 26-28:
- Interim Activities
- Concert by Richard Barry, Classical Guitarist
- Immigration Debate
- Alumnae Panel: Latin American Connections
- Animals from the Rainforest: The Learning Safari
- Latin American Fiesta and Dance Party
- Mall Trip
- Sports Practices
- Bus to Local Church Services
- Bus to Middleburg
