Led by sophomore Carrie H.,  Foxcroft School riders Sunday brought home an impressive collection of ribbons from the Just Jumpers Horse Show at Frying Pan Farm Park in Herndon, VA. Carrie, who rode her horse Monti, finished first, second, third and fourth in four events to claim the Reserve Champion title for the division.

Riding in a refurbished arena which just opened Friday, Foxcroft's Equitation Team walloped the opposition Sunday in the first Tri-State Equitation League meet on campus this year. Every Foxcroft rider earned at least one ribbon and the team collected 20 in all -- five of them blue -- to score 62 1/2 points to Columbia Horse Center's 47 and Madeira School's 14 1/2.  It was the team's second victory in as many meets this year.

Freshman McKenzie C. led the home-team effort, winning both flat and over-fences competitions in the Intermediate Class. In the Advanced Class, Rachel C., a junior, won the flat and placed second over fences, while senior co-captain Kate A. took first over fences and a third on flat. Senior Louisa F. captured Foxcroft's fifth blue ribbon in the last event of the day, the Novice over fences class. She also took third in the Novice flat competition.
