Jessica Nelson is from Kennett Square, PA. She attended Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD and graduated in 2008 with a double major in East Asian Studies and History, focusing on China and Chinese language. At Hopkins, Jessica swam for two years before going abroad to Beijing, China, to attend the Beijing Foreign Studies University. She also spent a semester interning at the American Enterprise Institute in Washington, D.C.
At Foxcroft, Jessica teaches Geometry and World Cultures. In the past, she has also been part of the language department teaching Chinese and French I. This past summer, Jessica helped to chaperone the French exchange to Paris, France, which was a fantastic experience. In addition, she has coached the Foxcroft Swim Team. Jessica enjoys traveling abroad and, while on campus, she enjoys spending time with her advisees, watching movies and coaching.
