Becky Gilmore was named Director of Advancement in 2006 after having been the Director of Admission at Foxcroft since 1989, and Freshman Dean since the fall of 2003.
When Becky arrived at Foxcroft in 1987 she had been married for two weeks and had taught biology at two boarding schools, in New England and Virginia. Since then, she has been involved in advancement, marketing and publications work as well as in teaching and advising students at the school.
Becky earned her undergraduate degree from Duke University and her Master’s in Science Education from the University of Virginia. She lives on campus with her husband, Roger, and her two children John and Sarah, Foxcroft Class of 2011. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, walking and gardening.
