Summer’s Here! is a camp which promotes self-esteem, cooperation, and a sense of caring for others.
Summer’s Here! offers children the opportunity to try new things in a safe and supervised environment, to participate in a new and supportive community, to challenge their personal best, and to make new friends for a lifetime.
Director Susie Old has run
Summer’s Here! since its inception in 1983. Her diverse teaching experience includes kindergarten, physical education, and horseback riding. She also worked at Kabeyun, a residential camp in New Hampshire.
Many of the counselors attended
Summer’s Here! as campers. Experienced Senior Counselors provide superb leadership and expertise in their specific fields. The Junior Counselors are trained in specific areas of leadership and work closely with the Senior Counselors.
