The Annual Giving Fund provides unrestricted, direct support to current school operations. These dollars help fund core strengths of the school as well as unexpected expenses, and are critical to our ability to provide the transformative "Foxcroft experience" to every student, every year.  Moreover, foundations examine participation percentages when evaluating Foxcroft grant requests. 

ANNOUNCING.... A CHALLENGE GRANT FOR 2008-09!
This year, a challenge grant by an anonymous donor will match every new and increased gift - dollar for dollar - up to $100,000. The full value of your new -or- increased gift is therefore doubled, providing a tremendous benefit to the School.

Every gift, large or small, truly does make a difference!

HOW TO MAKE A GIFT TO THE ANNUAL FUND
The most direct way to support Foxcroft is through an outright gift of cash (check or credit card) or stock. Gifts made in the form of a pledge may be extended over the period of a year. Many firms offer matching gift programs for outright gifts made by their employees and their spouses. Please ask your employer's Human Resource Office if this benefit is available to you! Typically, all that is involved is the completion of a form from your employer, and its return to Foxcroft. This is yet another way to increase the impact of your philanthropy.   

The Foxcroft Family of Annual Funds
You may choose to designate your gift to a particular area of the School's operations which is most meaningful to you. As always, you may elect to make an unrestricted gift to the Annual Fund which allows the School's administration to address critical needs in and out of the classroom. Here are the choices:

Athletics
The Athletics Fund supports opportunities for healthy competition, exercise, sportsmanship, personal growth, and self-respect.

Faculty
The Faculty Fund provides direct support to faculty salaries and benefits so that Foxcroft can retain and attract dedicated, inspiring teachers who love the unique challenges of boarding school life.

Financial Aid
The Financial Aid Fund provides the resources to enroll a student population that is highly diverse, talented, and motivated to be successful and contributing members of the Foxcroft community.

Fine Arts
The Fine Arts Fund enhances opportunities for students in the Visual and Performing Arts including ceramics, drawing, graphic design, painting, photography, sculpture, dance, drama, music and voice.

Greens & Grounds
The Greens & Grounds Fund maintains academic and athletic facilities, dormitories, housing, and community living spaces, and preserves Foxcroft's breathtaking landscape.

Riding
The Riding Fund supports a rigorous program based on the philosophy that riding develops character and the ability to make decisions while increasing equestrian fitness.

Student Life
The Student Life Fund enhances student life outside the classroom through opportunities to learn to live with others, to participate in community service, to explore leadership skills and opportunities, to acquire the information to make safe and healthy choices, to make new friends, to explore—and simply to relax.

Technology
The Technology Fund provides for hardware, software, upgrades, and networking capabilities to keep students and faculty wired and/or wireless.


The Family of Annual Funds supports Foxcroft School's operating budget, which includes the programs listed above. In the event of over funding in one or more programs, the Board of Trustees reserves the right to reallocate contributions as needed.
